Abstract

In this paper we had analyzed an impact of Hindi language morphological structure on the standard model of the search engines. Hindi language which is originated from Sanskrit language has a distinctive morphological structure. Besides the technical problem of unavailability of standard Hindi language keyboard, Hindi language searching on web is facing lot of other challenges. The paper will also analyze the critical issues of Hindi language structure and its affect on web searching. It will also compare and overview the performance and the characteristic features of the available Hindi language search engines.
