Abstract

Optimization of equilateral length for the microstrip equilateral triangle patch antenna geometry, modeled on ferrite substrate has been done by Artificial Neural Network (ANN) analysis. The side and dielectric constant, obtained by using ferrite as substrate for equilateral triangle microstrip antenna and neural network models, are in very good agreement with the experimental results available in the literature. Synthesis and analysis of antenna includes side of equilateral triangle patch (a), height of the dielectric substrate (h), the resonant frequency (fr) and dielectric constant of the ferrite material (εx, εy) as the functions of input/output variables. In this study, synthesis is defined as the forward side and then analysis as the reverse side of the problem.
