Abstract

Neeru nallah traversing across the Bhaderwah valley is a valuable sink for the wastes generated by the people inhabiting its watershed. Consequently anthropogenic intervention has deteriorated the water quality of this important tributary of Chenab river. So present study was undertaken as a consequence of which it was found that the anthropogenic stress on the part of the stream is building up nutrient content in the downstream sections.
