The finding of the present study of 60 cases of candidal infection in critically ill patients has been evaluated with scoring system. However appropriate antifungal T/t is essential for the control of invasive candida infection. Early diagnosis of invasive candidiasis remains a challenge & to start empirical therapy in critical patient is poorly defined. To come over this problem one scoring system i.e;Candida score could be very helping hand for the treating physician to differentiate patients who could benefit from early antifungal T/t from those for whom invasive candidiasis is highly improbable. This present study in 60 patient evaluated the performance of this score in a cohort of critical patients.
