Abstract

To study the role of ultrasound and color doppler in diagnosing acute scrotal conditions.

The study was conducted on 110 patients, who visited SIMS hospital OPD/IPD with complaint of scrotal pain or were found to have scrotal masses or swelling on clinical examination.

Ultrasonographic finding paved a path for prompt diagnosis helping differentiate surgically correctable conditions from those which can be treated conservatively.

This study supports undeniable and unique role of ultrasound and color doppler in reaching a optimal diagnosis of different scrotal condition.
