Staphylococcus Aureus Screening in Healthcare Workers and detection of MRSA in Bihar

Abstract

Staphylococci are the main causative agents of nosocomial diseases. In recent years, increasing resistance of Staphylococcus aureus to many antimicrobial agents. The identification of Staphylococcus aureus by using a proper antibiogram and the detection of methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus is important step towards effective treatment of the patients.
