Abstract

Five to ten percent of people in every community in the world are attracted to the same sex. HIV infection and other diseases among MSM have been increasing in recent years around the world, including India. This review study presents a discussion of the social and cultural context in which MSM includes sexual behavior patterns, sexual practices, infectious diseases and legal provision. Promotion of safe sexual practice is the need of the hour.
