All the ASHAs interviewed had received training under the NRHM. The knowledge of ASHAs about the various criteria for selection of beneficiaries for JSY scheme, ranged from 15% for BPL criteria to 65% for women having up to two live births. Recommendations;-Improve the reach of the scheme by removing the constraint of shortage of the ASHAs.
