Development of a mouse model for test of safety, immunogenicity and potency of staphylococcal mastitis vaccine

A mouse model was developed to test the safety, and potency of Staphylococcus aureus vaccine which may be adopted as standard method in evaluation of mastits vaccines. The immunogenicity of the Staphylococcus aureus vaccine can be tested in cattle and other animals following vaccination by serum agglutination test.
