The Luria-Nebraska Neuropsychological Battery (LNNB) is a comprehensive battery. hence, attempts have been made to shorten the test and also to develop screening tools to identify patients with probable neuropsychological deficits for detail assessment. Present study has been conducted to assess the cross validity of twenty-two and fifteen items screening tests from LNNB-I (Jahan et al. 2005) on depressive patients. Asample consisting of 30 depressive patients was selected from RINPAS, Ranchi. Results suggested that these screening tests were able to identify 96.67% depressive patients who were having neuropsychological deficits on full battery. Hence, these two screening tests may be used as screening tools to identify depressive patients who require detail neuropsychological assessment.
