There is no one comprehensive tool available in India for children which can assess the neuropsychological ability, cognitive ability, intellectual ability, achievement and learning problems on one place. However, there are numerous Indian adapted tools are available which can assess the intelligence, cognition and neuropsychological dysfunction individually. These tests findings either give the IQ or localization of brain damage. No one tool is available or adapted in India for children which can assess the above given entities on alone and help the clinician, teachers and parents to identify the children's gap between the ability and accomplishment, related factors, causing factors and use the findings for the management of these problems to enhance academic and placement outcome. K-ABC is a kind of test which is having several above given features and can assess these entities on one place but the Indian study done by Akhourie et al. (2006) on K-ABC on Indian children suggests that the test needs to modify for the Indian population because some subtests are culturally biased and inappropriate for the assessment of Indian children. Rushi et al. (2008) made a Hindi version of K-ABC and found that the children perform well in modified Hindi version as compare to original K-ABC but the absence of norms, limited sample and lack of further elaboration of findings leads the requirement of a Indian test which can assess these entities on alone. Therefore, this Neuropsychological and Achievement Battery for children was developed and for the standardization of the battery the test was administered on 80 children (40 boys and 40 girls) of age range between 5 to 13 for the assessment of Test-Retest reliability of the test. The findings suggest that the correlation coefficients of all subtests is between.716 to.999 and subscales are between.635 to.999 by using Pearson Product Moment method of correlation coefficient. The Test-Retest reliability of whole test battery is.99 The findings shows good Test-Retest reliability of the subtests, subscales and test battery as whole.
