The Cinema which has multifarious efficacious role in life of individuals illustrated various conundrums. In this paper one such Bollywood movie Highway, directed by Imtiaz Ali, released worldwide on 21st February, 2104, is being analyzed by various psychological connotations. It contemplates with amalgam of tender issues from social to psychological. However, this paper focuses on bringing a psychoanalytic and other psychological issues of the movie dealing with its dynamic constructs of suppression, repression, abreaction, transference, poor attachment with primary care givers, pathological defenses, imprints of childhood sexual abuse, double bind mechanisms, Stockholm syndrome, mal adjustments and other pathological dimensions paralleling with social mayhem and its impact on the protagonists psycho social adjustment and life.
