Abstract

Psychology has seen an unparalleled interest from the masses in the last three decades. Be it art, literature, or any other mode of creative expression, the theme of psychology applied to the human beings have been dealt with time and again. Movies and TV series are also showing interest day by day to portray the different shades of the mass psyche in order to rekindle the cryptic mysticism that enthralls us so well. In that perspective the TV series MINDHUNTER which aired its’ first season in October 2017, has been reviewed through the shades of psychology. Character study has been done from a psychodynamic perspective, as well as analysis of symbols used, and attachment issues has also been covered, along with the issues of violence and psychopathy.
