In the present study of sphinogomonos paucimobilis a new pathogen was studied in 114 patients (65 males) and (45 females) of different age group admitted at ICU. Various specimens like Blood 18(27.6%) in males, 8(16.3%) in females. pus 12(18.4%) in males, 11(22.4%) in females was observed. CSF 8(12.3%) in males, 4(8.16%) in females urine 3(4.6%) in males, 7(14.2%) in females pleural fluid 6(9.2%) in male 3(6.1%) in females, sputum 3(4.6%), in males, 1(2%) in females synovial fluid 1(1.5%) in male 3(6.1%) in females, vitreous tap 3(4.6%) in males 2(4%) in males 1(2%) in females, Endotracheal tube (ET) secretion 2(3%) in males, 1(2%) in females stool 1(1.5%) in male, 2(4%) in female BAL fluid 3(4.6%) in male 2(4%) in fluid pericardia fluid 1(1.5%) in males semen 2(3%) in males wound swab 2(3%) in males, 3(6.1%) in females. Conjunctiva swab 2(3%) in males, 1(2%) in females was observed. Isolation of this bacterium was identified by using VITEK R2 an automated instrument for ID%AST testing. This sphingomonous puccimobils was found in almost all specimen of pathological examination because it is an aerobic, oxidise positive, catalyze positive, motile gram negative, aquarium hence referred as an opportunistic pathogen(1) commonly causes nasocomial infection and this study of various specimen quite useful to microbiologist and clinician to de-cide the proper antibiotic to cure the patients at the earliest.
