This study is to investigate the effectiveness in (IPPR) Intensive Prophylactic Pulmonary rehabilitation on General Surgeries like Hernia repair, Lap Appendisectomy, Radical Mastectomy to improve the Aerobic fitness, Quality of life reduces the long stay duration in hospital, Improve self esteem and reduces depression and prevent (chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases) complications and improves resolution of healing when compare to conventional methods of Physiotherapy.
45 subjects selected randomly and subdivided into 3 groups Experiment. I=IPPR, n=15, Exp II= Conventional group, Control group, n=15 subject selected from Inpatients Post Operative general surgeries both female and males. Selected subjects are n=15 in each group belong to age group (30–56) both male and females. Experimental assessed by 3 different assessment tool, survey instrument questionnaire undergone physiotherapy for 15 days.
3 groups of the 15 days under supervision and home exercises weekly once totally 2 weeks physiotherapy experiment group 1 shows significant improvement in Aerobic fitness, Quality of Improvement depressing reducing scale and hospital stay when compare to other groups. &PS ‘P’ value shows difference, SD=+5 anacova method statistical analysis alone.
Intensive prophylactic pulmonary rehabilitation which is more beneficial and effective in improving quickly from post operative period of her general surgeries when compare to other methods.
