Abstract

Phyllodes tumour is a rare fibroepithelial lesion that accounts for less than 1% of all breast neoplasms and 0.5–1% of all breast cancers1. It occurs mostly in women in third to fourth decade. Local recurrence is known to occur in 15% cases and in 20% cases, distant metastases are discovered.

We present a case of young female with huge recurrent breast mass showing malignant changes associated with pleural effusion which was investigated and operated successfully.
