To describe the various sonographic appearances of cysticercosis for correct diagnosis for prompt and proper treatment. Methods -Sonography was performed with both convex and linear array transducers in six patients with different symptoms at different sites. Results-In a patient, an intramuscular fluid collection was seen with a cysticercus cyst in it. In two patients, an irregular cyst with a small fluid collection on one side was seen. In two patients hypoechoic small fluid containing ring shaped rounded lesions one having internal echogenic scolex were seen in orbits. In the last patient, elliptical millet seed shaped calcification was seen. Conclusions-Four different sonographic appearances of soft tissue cysticercosis are described.
