Abstract

Limberg's flap is a versatile flap that can be used for various defects in different part of the body in all age groups of patients.

To demonstrate the usefulness of limberg's flap

Patients operated between between Jan 2012 to July 2016 were included in this study. There were no limitations in regards to etiology, location, size, age, sex or any other patient factors.

There were 104 patients who underwent surgical procedures for various reasons, for a total of 120 elevated rhomboid flaps. Seventy eight of the 104 cases were male and the median patient age was 37.5 years.there was only one case of tip necrosis which healed without any secondary procedure

Limberg's rhomboid flap provides for closure of small to large defects at a wide range of anatomical sites, with a high level of safety and predictability and a low index of complications.
