To evaluate the role of Otoendoscope in the management of dry central perforation of tympanic membrane
A prospective study of 40 patients with dry central perforation with conductive hearing loss at Post-graduate Department of Otorhino laryngology and Head & Neck Surgery Govt. Medical College, Srinagar.
Otoendoscopic myringoplasty was performed in 40 patients aged 11to 50 yrs using temporalis fascia graft. A zero degree 4mm otoendoscope was used.
The success rate of perforation closure after otoendoscopic myringoplasty was seen 34(85%) out of 40 patients by the end of three months. Otoendoscopic myringoplasty with ATF graft is a simple and minimally invasive technique for Tympanic membrane perforations.
