We report a case of 33 years, primigravida 9 weeks of gestational age who was diagnosed with left ovarian torsion. She was treated laparoscopically and left ovary de-torsion was done, following which she continued her pregnancy successfully. Adnexal torsion is a rare cause of acute abdomen in pregnancy. Adnexal torsion is often missed during early pregnancy due to nonspecific clinical features and objective findings. With the diagnosis of ovarian torsion, surgical management is the best option. Conservative treatment should not be done as it increases the morbidity for both the mother and the fetus. Early management of ovarian torsion will be benefitable by preserving ovarian function and fertility. Traditionally, ovarian torsion was treated by laparotomy. Here we present a case of laparoscopically treated case of ovarian torsion in first trimester of pregnancy following which she continued her pregnancy successfully.
