90 females suffering with CTS, aged between 30–48 were selected for study. Out of 90, 8(8.8%) were obese, 10 (11-1%) were diabetes mellitus, 20 (22-2%) had Thyroidal dysfunction, 9 (10%) were leading sedentary life.7 (7.7%) were pregnant, 5(5.5%) were menopausal, 8 (8.8%) had family history (genetic), 7(7.7%0 were idiopathic, 3 (3.3%), had inflammatory arthritis of wrist.5(5.5%) were smokers, 8(8.8%) were alcoholic. These symptoms were associated with CTS and aggravating the same. This study will certainly help the Orthopedic surgeon to rule out the factors Which aggravate the symptoms before surgical approach So that postsurgical complications can be avoided
