An experiment was conducted on sandy loam soil to compare the effects of foliar application of nutrients and growth promoters on yield of gram under late sown conditions during Rabi 2017–18 and 2018–19. The experiment comprised five treatments in five replications and laid out in randomized block design. The maximum mean seed yield (20.61 q/ha) was recorded under recommended dose of NP + two foliar spray of 1% NPK of 19:19:19 at flowering and pod formation while application of 10% Jivamruth along with RD of NP was at par with RD of NP + one foliar spray of 1% NPK of 19:19:19 at flowering and RDF alone and all treatments were found significantly superior to no fertilizer application (11.56 q ha−1). The maximum net returns ( 74077 ha−1) and benefit to cost ratio (3.43) was recorded with application of recommended dose of NP + two foliar spray of 1% NPK of 19:19:19 at flowering and pod formation.
