Abstract

Free convection flow past an impulsively started infinite vertical plate with uniform heat flux in the presence of thermal radiation is studied here. Heat transfer effects are taken into account and the dimensionless governing equations are solved using the Laplace-transform technique. It is observed that for an increase in radiation parameter N, there is a fall in the velocity or temperature.
