Abstract

An exact solution of a steady three-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic flow due to non-coaxially rotations of a porous disk and a fluid at infinity is obtained. The velocity distribution is obtained for the case of uniform suction and uniform blowing at the disk in the presence of an applied magnetic field. The expressions of the force and the torque exerted by the fluid on the porous disk are given. The numerical results of the velocity distributions are obtained by graphically when the porous disk and a fluid at infinity are rotating non – coaxially with nearly the same angular velocity.
