Nowadays, educational data mining is growing in the field of higher educational institutions. This study finds mindset reading using educational data mining with statistic to information given by universities. The present study emphasises on the scatteredness difference in mindset of educators (faculty and students) towards information and communication technology (ICT) knowledge in relation to their state of residence. The variance difference of stakeholders can explore the scatteredness in mindset of educators towards ICT. The frequency-test (F-test) is appropriate to find out significant difference among educators for their state of residence. The author is applied F-test at 5% confidence level on 904 primary samples gathered from six reputed universities residing in northern India. The F-test concludes the scatteredness in the mindset of students and faculty towards ICT knowledge for 20–20 variables, respectively, and no scatteredness in the mindset of students and faculty towards ICT knowledge for 15–15 variables, respectively.
