Automatic Classification of Bulk Food Grains Using Machine Learning Assisted Computer Vision-A Survey

Abstract

Identification and Classification of food grains in nature is a difficult job for the human beings, many researchers solve this problem by developing machine learning algorithm using computer vision. This paper briefs different method used to extract the features like colour, morphological, shape and texture, which represents the characteristics of image. The survey reveals that N neural Networks (NN), Support Vector Machine (SVM) and KNearest nearest neighbour (KNN) extensively used for classification of food grains.
