Predictive Analytics: Trends, Applications and Recommendations

Predictive analytics is like an intelligent robot which crawls through the past data until it finds something interesting or useful to be presented in front of you about the future. Predictive analytics makes use of various methods like machine learning, neural computing, computational mathematics and artificial intelligence techniques to explore all the data and produce meaningful patterns and relationships among them. Almost all the fields requires predictive analytics these days, hence predictive analytics can be applied in education, medical or be it business domain. The areas where predictive analytics can be applied are briefly discussed in this paper. Also, we discuss how other researchers have used various predictive analytics techniques in various other fields.
