Abstract
A combination product Ducord 17 EC (Chlorpyriphos 16% + Alphacypermethrin 1%) was field evaluated against leaf folder infesting rice during kharif, 2005 and summer, 2006 at Central Research Farm, Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneswar. The test compound at its two higher dosages i.e. 1250 and 1000 ml/ha produced pronounced effect on leaf folder causing least leaf infestation (a mean of 2.59 and 3.43% in kharif, 2005 and 2.45 and 2.95% in summer, 2006, respectively).
