Abstract

Nine insecticidal treatments were evaluated against Athalia lugens proxima (Klug) on radish at Junagadh during 2007–08. The results showed that the spinosad 0.007%, thiodicarb 0.075%, quinalphos 0.05% and endosulfan 0.07% were highly effective. Significantly the highest radish yield (216.39 q/ha) was recorded with spinosad 0.007%. However, it was found statistically at par with thiodicarb 0.075% (202.50 qt/ha), quinalphos 0.05% (194.25 qt/ha) and endosulfan 0.07% (190.00 qt/ha). On the basis of cost benefit ratio (CBR), endosulfan 0.07% was found the most economical.
