Epilachna spp., herbivorous members among the predominatly carnivorous Coccinellidae are economic pests which cause serious damage to crops. Epilachna septima, feeds on stem, leaves and fruits of Momordica charantia. In severe infestation it causes complete defoliation resulting in great economic loss. Its bionomics was studied in field as well as in laboratory condition. Cantheoconidea furcellata, a natural predator observed in field, effectively controls the beetle. The feeding behaviour and efficacy of bug was studied.
