The diagnosis of genus Ophiusa Ochsenheimer has been revised with the incorporation of new taxonomic attributes pertaining to internal genitalic organs. The internal organs of type species tirrhaca (Cramer) and two other congeneric species i.e., indistincta (Moore), and triphaenoides (Walker) studied and illustrated.
