Abstract

Effect of fungicides on conidial germination of powdery mildew Phyllactinia corylea when studied under in vitro conditions revealed that the maximum (9.85%) inhibition was recorded with thiovit (0.20%) followed by dinocap and mancozeb. The maximum mortality (64.9%) was recorded in dinocap followed by mancozeb and thiovit. Fungicides immediately 1 day after spraying (DAS) affected the III instar of Bombyx mori compared to IV and V larvae. From 3 DAS onwards the toxic effect was not observed.
