Studies were conducted at three localties in Tamil Nadu with varied ambient temperature ranges in cabbage, to document the population dynamics of key pests. Among the pests observed Lepidoptera occupied 46% followed by Hemiptera 27%, Coleoptera 9%, Orthoptera 9% and Acari 9%. The results revealed that there is high level of incidence in low temperature zones like Ooty and Hosur.
