Population dynamics of Chilo partellus Swinhoe and its natural enemies in maize was studied at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, S.D. Agricultural University, Khedbrahma during kharif 2007 and 2008. The incidence of the C. partellus begins from 3rd week of July and continued up to 3rd week of September with a peak activity in August. Parasitoid, Cotesia flavipes Cameron showed significant positive correlation with larval population. Rainfall had significantly negative association with C. partellus and damage was significantly negatively correlated with minimum temperature (2008), and significantly positively correlated with maximum temperature (2007).
