A modified method of quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged and safe (QuEChERS) was developed for the simultaneous detection of residues of thiamethoxam, flubendiamide and endosulfan in cole crops like cabbage and cauliflower. The primary secondary amine (PSA) sorbent and grafitized carbon black were used for extraction and clean-up process in the method. Determination of thiamethoxam, flubendiamide and endosulfan was done using HPLC coupled with UV-VIS detection system along with Brownlee Analytical column. Mobile phase of acetonitrile and water (90: 10, v/v) @ 0.5 mL min−1 flow rate was operated. C18 Thiamethoxam, flubendiamide and α-and β-endosulfan were found at distinct peaks of retention times at 1.95, 2.39, 3.37 and 3.88 min, respectively. Constant recoveries of above 80% were observed for all the three insecticides when samples of cabbage and cauliflower were spiked at different levels of 0.05, 0.10, 0.25, 0.50 and 1.00 mg kg−1 levels.
