The genus Nicolaus Lindberg (1958) is documented as a new record from Maharashtra with the redescription of Nicolaus bidentatus Viraktamath and Webb and Nicolaus cornutus Viraktamath and Webb. Illustrations of these along with the checklist of species is provided.
