Seven newer insecticides were evaluated against pomegranate thrips Scirtothrips dorsalis during Ambia bahar 2016 and 2017. The results revealed that all the insecticidal treatments were significantly effective. Spinosad 45SC @73 g a.i./ha was the most effective and it was at par with cyantraniliprole 10.26OD @75 g a.i./ha and fipronil 5SC @75 g a.i./ha.
