A field experiment was conducted on the hadda beetle Henosepilachna vigintioctopunctata (F) to document its seasonal incidence on Indian ginseng during kharif season, 2021. The study on the population dynamics revealed that the infestation started in the first week of September and reached peak in second week of October grub and adult occurrence revealed a significant positive correlation with maximum temperature (r=0.64), while the minimum temperature, relative humidity and rainfall showed insignificance. The natural enemies observed were chrysopid, Chrysoperla zastrowi arabica (Henry et al.), Camponotus compressus (F), Monomorium indicum Forel and spider.
