Abstract

An updated version of the systematic list of family Calliphoridae and Muscidae from Andaman and Nicobar Islands is presented here with two species of Calliphoridae - Hemipyrellia ligurriens, Lucilia papuensis and two species of Muscidae -Neomyia coeruleifrons, Neomyia steini being reported for the first time from these islands. This extends the species count of Calliphoridae and Muscidae flies from Andaman and Nicobar Islands to 11 and 25, respectively.
