Deltamethrin 2.5% EC at 500 and 550 ml caused mortality of Phthorimaea (=Tuta) absoluta larvae to an extent of (65.67 and 73.77%) while emamectin benzoate (Benzer plus) 38% EC at 750 and 800 ml caused more mortality. Under glasshouse conditions, minimum and maximum mortality were recorded in three rounds of spray treatment by Benzer plus 38% EC at a rate of 800 ml with the highest mortality (42.06-92.01%) and followed by Beta 310 SC at a rate of 600 ml (36.83-85.49c%) and Delta 2.5% EC at a rate of 550 ml (30.79-78.80%). The highest yield obtained was 1024.50 g/ plant with emamectin benzoate.
