Insecticide Combination Against Maize Fall Army Worm Spodoptera frugiperda (J E Smith)

Abstract

An experiment was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of chlorantraniliprole 10% w/w + novaluron 20% w/w SC against fall army worm Spodoptera frugiperda (J E Smith) in maize during rabi, 2020-21 and kharif, 2021 at the Instructional Farm of Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Pundibari, Cooch Behar, West Bengal. During the study, lowest leaf damage and larval incidence was observed with doses of this combination ranging from 300 to 375 ml/ ha. In terms of maize yield, treated plots showed maximum (53.40- 53.69 q/ ha.
