Management of Cotton Aphid Aphis gossypii Glover on Cucumber in Greenhouse

Abstract

An experiment was carried out in greenhouses with cucumber in Nepal for evaluating efficacy insecticides alongwith biopesticide and coccinellid predator against the aphid Aphis Gossypii Glover. Relationship with different temperature reflines was also studied. The results revealed that use of biopesticide like neem and predators like Coccinella septempunctata L. are to be encouraged in greenhouses, and temperature is to be regulated.
