Brinjal is a good source of dietary fiber and protects mankind from several health ailments. The brinjal borer moth-Leucinodes orbonalis Guenee is an important insect pest globally. The present experimentation compared trap-lure combinations under field conditions in a farmer’s crop near Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu (13.123052511049547, 79.91195171648091) without chemical insecticide use during May 2024 in two-month age crop. The seven treatments data were subjected to ANOVAand it was concluded that one combination was superior and protected brinjal. Pheromone trap treatments compared seven trap-lure options and concluded that these were superior in ftrapping efficacy. The results showed significant differences confirming that brinjal farmers can use these three superior combinations to get maximum benefit.
