This study on the biosystemic studies on subfamily Agromyzinae from southern part of India explores the diversity and distribution of Agromyzinae flies in southern India. As far 13 species from 5 genera are reported in the southern region which includes 1 Agromyza Fallen are, 2 from Japanagromyza Sasakawa, 4 from Melanagromyza Hendel, 1 from Ophiomyia Braschikov, and 5 species belong to Epidermomyia Ipe and Ipe. The study also examines altitudinal variations in species distribution and their parasites.
