First Report on Brachymeria Spp As a Hyperparasitoid of Charops bicolor from Southern Rajasthan, India

Abstract

Present study reports a black-bodied hymenopteran Brachymeria spp (Hymenoptera: Chalcididae) during the survey and observations recorded under laboratory conditions, it was the first time reported as a hyperparasitoid of Charops bicolor Szepligeti (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae) which was a larval parasitoid of Spodoptera frugiperda J E Smith (Noctuidae: Lepidoptera) in maize from Southern Rajasthan, India.
