Abstract

The application of manure significantly (p < 0.05) improved soil pH, organic carbon, total nitrogen, available phosphorus, exchangeable bases, exchangeable acidity, effective cation exchange capacity, base saturation, bulk density, total porosity, gravimetric moisture content and hydraulic conductivity. The improvement in these parameters increased with an increase in the quantity of manure applied. Therefore, manure is recommended to use to improve soil productivity.
