Effects of Optimus Plus and Red Tea Extract Fertilizer on the Growth and Flowering of Freesia (Freesia hybrida)

The experiment was conducted in poly house to find out the effects of optimus plus at 0, 4 and 8 g l⁻¹ and red tea (Roselle) extract 0, 6and 12 g l⁻¹ on freesia plant characteristics. Plant height, leaves number, shoot dry weight, number of flowering days, number of flower stalks floret diameter, total chlorophyll content and leaves carbohydrate content and leaves content of anthocyanin increased significantly with the application of extracts.
