Treatments combination of NPK, sulphur, vermicompost, phosphate solubilizing bacteria, PSB), Farm Yard Manure (FYM, poultry manure and kitchen waste compost were attempted to assess the effect of NPK, organic manure and bio fertilizers on growth, yield and quality of garlic. The application of recommended dose of chemical fertilizers (NPK 100:50:50 kg/ha) had good response to increase the bulb yield. However, most of vegetative growth, morphs-chemical qualities of bulb were better with NPK 75:30:30 kg/ha + S 50kg/ha + Kitchen waste compost 10 t/ha which was better than the recommended dose of chemical fertilizers viz. maximum plant height (52.92 cm), number of leaves/plant (8.74cm), average bulb weight (20.33g), yield/plot (813.2 g), yield/ha (112.94 q). Thus, application of kitchen waste compost may be used in integrated way with chemical NPK and Sulphur to improve the production and quality of garlic.
