This paper empirically determined a simple direct relationship of eight independent variables that impact the growth of solar energy in India, and studying the applicability of SEM and analyze the results to yield a robust model that elucidates the interrelationship. Out of eight direct relationships six (4 positive effect, 2 negative effect) are empirically proven to have significant influence on the dependent variable, growth of solar energy. Two are insignificant influence on the dependent variables i.e. growth of solar energy.
