Abstract

Automotive Mission Plan 2016–26 depicts a clear vision of government in which it focuses to develop India as a global manufacturing centre. Innovation is mostly likely to intensify among engine technology and alternative fuels. Government's intension is to develop India into an R&D hub. India can be a leader in shared mobility by 2030, providing various opportunities for electric and autonomous vehicles. Inspite of this, the automobile sector has observed slowdown hence study is being undertaken to analysis pricing through valuation models so that investors can take decision of hold, buy or sell. Findings of the study has been done using Altman Z score which has effectively assisted Investor to determine price to take decision of buy, hold and sell strategy.
